Which one is worse of the two? Is it better to be malnourished or homeless. Well ask the more cursed one among the two and he would prefer to be without food and bear the hunger
but not be perennially traumatized for lack of a roof above the head. From natural calamities to social torture, all these are part of the life for homeless kids.
For the millions of roofless kids, life is all about finding left -over food in garbage bins, & sleeping on roads in chilling winters. They are not only vulnerable to deadly diseases & infections but also get trapped in flesh & organ trades. During last 10 years, more than 6 million children have been made homeless due to wars, re-locations, conflicts & political turmoils. Millions have been forced to leave Uganda due to cult like rebellions that are famous for abducting & brutalising children. Sometimes poverty & sometimes family denunciation leave these young kids at mercy of no one. Almost all Asian & African countries have millions of children earning their daily breads themselves & sleeping on streets under the dark horrifying sky.
In the world of booming infrastructure & glass palaces, providing shelter to these caste away is still a dream. Who will heal their world??
